Shrinkfast 975 Heat Gun Igniter Assembly - Part# 18A/26A

The Shrinkfast 975 Heat Gun IgniterAssembly (Part# 18A/26A on the diagram) is responsible for delivering an electrical current to the Spark Plug (part #28). When the 975 heat gun's Trigger (part #17A) is squeezed, the mechanical portion of this Igniter Assembly compresses creating an electrical reaction and an audible "click". The Igniter Assembly may need to be replaced when the components inside eventually wear down, preventing the electrical current to travel the distance required to create a spark. The mechanical part of the assembly rests inside the top of the Handles (parts 29A/34A) without any fasteners and the wire has a "boot" that slides over the spark plug.
